Ashley joined the AAH staff as a Kennel Attendant in September of 2018, advanced to our assistant team in April of 2019, and was promoted to assistant team leader in 2021. Born in Fort Bragg, NC, she graduated from Elkins High School in 2011. She lives in Elkins with her fiancé and their son, Wolfgang. They share their home with 5 cats and 2 dogs, most of which are rescued pets.

Serving her community as an active member of the Elkins, Make It Shine organization, Ashley loves the color purple and enjoys making crafts out of duct tape. She spends much of her free time outdoors with her dogs and her son, taking them on river walks.
