Casey joined our staff in December of 2025 after graduating from Penn Foster with an A.S. in Veterinary Technician.

A  2010 graduate of Washington & Jefferson College with a B.A. in Mathematics, she is also a 2022 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a PhD in Bioengineering.

She moved to Elkins from Pittsburgh in 2020 and started working with local shelters, while also developing research on using health data to improve outcomes in cats. It was during this time that she fell in love with veterinary medicine and pursued her degree as a Veterinary Technician.

Casey makes her home in Elkins with her partner Emma, and their four cats.

In her spare time (although she isn't sure what that is) she can be found reading, teaching, or cooking for friends.
