Sonya joined our staff in July of 2023 as a veterinary assistant. After a few months at that position, and wishing to put her more creative nature to work, she began her training in our grooming department.

A graduate of Tygarts Valley High School, she attended Bethany College. An accomplished artist, some of her artwork is displayed in murals at Tygarts Valley High School, as well as pieces displayed at Valley Health Care. In addition to painting, she enjoys spending time with her nephew and going on adventures with him.

Sonya currently lives in Elkins and shares her home with one dog, three cats, and 2 birds.
