Part-time groomer Toni joined the staff of Appalachian Animal Hospital in August of 2012 as a Veterinary Assistant and, after a few months of training with our former groomer, made the transition to our grooming department in February of 2013. 

A 2001 graduate of Falconer High School in Falconer, New York, Toni received her Administrative Medical Assistant certification from West Virginia Wesleyan College. 

Toni resides in Belington with her husband Robbie, and they share their home with dogs Rosco, Princess and Tiger as well as a cat named Paisley. In their spare time, the Shomos enjoy riding 4-wheelers, craft shows, and hanging out with family and friends.
